Puscifer is an American rock group formed in Los Angeles by Maynard James Keenan, known as the lead singer of Tool and A Perfect Circle, Mat Mitchell, and Carina Round.
The Goal
Alongside the announcement of their 2025 SESSANTA V2.0 tour, Puscifer wanted to maximize early ticket sales and build their email and SMS audiences by launching a fan presale.
The Play
Puscifer used the Bandsintown Widget to embed tour dates and presale links on their website, then announced the tour on social media, directing fans to sign up for presale access and reminders.
Fans shared their email addresses - and optionally their phone numbers - to be notified when presale tickets became available.
Just before the presale launched, fans received an email and SMS text with the ticket links and presale code, giving them direct access to purchase tickets.
The Results
In just 48 hours, Puscifer's presale drew in 12.6k signups. This included 7.6k fans who registered before the presale and another 5k who signed up during the presale for instant access.
When it was time to buy tickets, Bandsintown automatically emailed the 7.6k fans who had registered early, resulting in 3.1k unique clicks and an impressive 48% unique click-through rate.
