After a hiatus of several years since her last album in 2014, Kesha wanted to reconnect with her fanbase and come back with a bang for her 5th studio album Gag Order and supporting tour.

To generate awareness for the album and tour, Kesha created a Release page to launch a VIP ticket giveaway.


The custom Release page included the tour flier and an email opt-in for fans to enter by joining her mailing list and was sent to fans who follow Kesha or similar artists through a Promoted Email campaign.


Kesha also shared the link across her socials and on Bandsintown, announcing she was giving away a pair of VIP tickets, and added her custom Smart Link to her social bio in case fans missed the post.

The Results

Of the 5.8K fans who visited her Release page, nearly half of them signed up for the contest by joining her mailing list, giving her team a total of 2.8k new fan emails to use for future marketing campaigns. 


Ultimately, Kesha drove 7.9k clicks on ticket links for the Gag Order tour dates through her emails and posts, all sending fans directly to official ticket sellers.
