The Goal

With almost a decade in the rearview mirror since their last album, MB20 wanted to spark excitement around their 2023 tour supporting their latest album Where The Light Goes.

The Play

To drive awareness of the tour, the band set up a flyaway RSVP contest through Bandsintown for Artists, offering the winner 2x round trip flights, a 4-star hotel for 3 nights, $500 spending cash, & 2x VIP tickets to see them in Nashville at Bridgestone Arena. 


They created a Promoted Email to reach more than 1 million fans on Bandsintown about the contest as well as Facebook and Twitter posts, and added the Smart Link to their social bio. 

Fans were required to RSVP to a show and share their email address in order to be entered to win, which the band made easy by embedding the Widget on their website, with email opt-in enabled.

The Results

By incentivizing fans with a once-in-a-lifetime experience to see the band perform in Nashville, MB20 saw an open rate of 68% on their emails and generated more than 23k clicks to the contest CTA, netting 17.1k new followers and 13k new email contacts as fans entered to win via the Widget. Overall, the contest and associated promotional collateral also generated 25.9k clicks to ticket links for their tour dates.
